Soroptimist is Celebrating 100 Years and We Need Your Help!

Soroptimist is celebrating 100 years improving the lives of women and girls!  And the Napa club is celebrating 82 years… and needs your help! Our annual Lobsterfest had to be rescheduled to 2022 due to Covid, but our work and needs for women and girls has only increased!  Please SCAN to donate to help support programs like “The Future is You” scholarship for graduating senior Napa Valley Unified School District girls who are overcoming extenuating circumstances or first- time college goers.  Or the new “Girls think Green!” Program for middle school girls (started during Covid), educating on “green” living with professional mentors while providing a competition to come up with “Green” projects to win a cash prize. Also, the annual Live Your Dream Education and Training award, for women who are Head-of-household, have financial need and are motivated to make a change in their lives by going to college or a trade school.  This is one of our most impactful awards… besides the financial reward, it impacts their self-esteem motivating them to achieve their goals, making a real difference!  Or the Violet Richardson award which honors teenage girls for their volunteer work. The winner receives a $500 cash award and $500 is donated to a charity of their choice.
